So, I took a look at some of the dresses worn to the 2012 Oscars earlier tonight, and decided that I would create a game!
It’s called: Camille’s Oscar Dress Picture Association Game!
Now remember, for every photo, this is the VERY first thing that comes to my mind- so some results may be a bit strange, haha.
Now, to play along, as you see each dress, see if the first thing that comes to your mind matches with mine!
Heeeeeere we go!
Rooney Mara’s dress makes me think of…
don’t you agree? I really like this dress! But, hmmm…am I craving sugar?
Next is Michelle Williams, whose dress makes me think of…
and apparently this isn’t the first time!
and if she wasn’t valentiney enough, this was the dress she wore to the London premiere of her film, Blue Valentine! I think that might be overkill.
Is she sending a hint to her boyfriend? Hmm.
Next up, we have Judy Greer, whose dress makes me think of…
A FORK! (haha)
but…in the best way possible. I actually am quite fond of this dress. (and of forks.) Though honestly, I really prefer to eat everything with chopsticks. (true!)
Next, we have Gwyneth Paltrow, whose dress makes me think of…
Perhaps she has been spending too much time on Iron Man sets in recent years?
The cape is actually not a bad idea, though. I bet it makes her feel powerful.
Next is Viola Davis, whose dress makes me think of…
which to me, is a very good thing. (I am strangely obsessed with mermaids and secretly have always wanted to be one. Sighhhh…)
Following Viola, we have Jennifer Lopez, whose dress makes me think of…
well, AN OSCAR!
I know that she has been recently pursuing a career in acting, but…this goal may be a little lofty for J-Lo.
Next up is Jessica Chastain, whose dress makes me think of…
I know that I’m not alone on this one. It really looks just like a chandelier!
and a new actress on the scene, Leila Hatami is next in line, whose dress makes me think of…
A LITTLE GIRL PLAYING “DRESS UP” AS A BRIDE!
actually, I think that quite a few actresses were guilty of this particular offense- white seemed to be a very popular color for the night!
And lastly, we have Nancy O’Dell, whose dress makes me think of…
a jeweled banana! haha.
I hope you enjoyed my silly game! Did you have any similar reactions?
